There were many loyal fans who were using the Yahoo Messenger since its beginning. As the landscape of communications is continuing to change, it is focusing on building and introducing new, exciting communication tolls that better fit in the current market needs of the consumers.

The Yahoo Messenger was launched in 1998 and was a big hit among its users. But, with time, the messaging app seemed to lose its captivation as the competition got intense.

Over the years, the messaging app came up with a lot of updates to keep its users hooked to it. It redesigned the app, came with new features, and tried hard to survive in the messaging platform but, couldn’t make through it.

The users didn’t find the messenger fascinating enough and eventually switched to other apps, thanks to numerous options available in the market. Anyway, our once favorite messaging app, Yahoo messenger has been shut down now.
