The episode 20 of Cursed Oak Island season 6 begins with an intense and serious moment when Rick and Marty along with their partner Craig have called upon an urgent meeting in the dungeon they call ‘The War Room’. The reason behind this is probably something important that had to be discussed with the hindrance in the new development or new excavation. The operators of the carne went on strike in an endeavour to get a higher daily wages this means that the team cannot go ahead with any more of digging. Therefore they came to the decision of how to make the best utilization of whatever time they have left, particularly if the strike is going to continue for 21 days, that’s pretty long though. Hence they decided to continue working at Smith’s Cove and face the hurdles they have encountered.
An ancient structure made up of wood has been found at SMith’s Cove 2 days ago and continue to excavate the remaining space in and around. The group believes that this may be somehow interconnected with the flood tunnel framework of the ancient time. Whereas the Lagina brothers believed that the structure discovered was meant to stop the flood at Money Pit. It was discovered by legendary excavator Robert Restall decades ago. This probably may help them get to the real Money Pit shaft.
A day later Jack Begley and Gray Drayton went to the western shore of the Oak Island which is named as Lot 1, in the hope to discover more and more artifacts just like the gold roch. Jack and Gary found old blue colored pottery. Although they continued with their research they discovered ages old military button similar to the one found in Money Pit approximately 2 years before.
Rick and Lagina along with other members of the team in the War Room welcome a famous visitor, James McQuiston. James is a renowned researcher, author & a distinguished historian who particularise in ancient chronicles that attaches the historical Knights Templar to their probable history in Northern America. He has a strong belief that Knights Templar came all the way to Nova Scotia, particularly New Ross. He claimed that there are probably about half a million dollars hidden on the Oak island. As James had been of absolute help for better understanding and affix one fact with the other.
After a day or two when meeting with Marty and Drayton went to Lot 16 just to run a check if there are any chances of connecting the dots. They decided to investigate a very recently found well made up of stone based near the Money Pit. They somehow with utmost caution removed the lid of the well and checked it with the metal detectors wherein they got some very sturdy signals which indicates there has been something hidden in the well. Almost everyone who watches the show are curious to know what happens next what tests will unreveal, on the other hand team is having high hopes to get fruitful results of what they started and continued despite every hurdle they faced.
