No contentment with the job
One of the possible and strong reasons why I don’t want to work for a particular company is because you are not getting paid enough to feed your satisfaction level. This feeling when you don’t want to go to work comes when you realize that the salary you are getting is not what your actual worth is, you began to get the feeling of not going to work.
In such a scenario, you might need your job to make your living but you will not be motivated or enthused about working towards advancing the company’s goals and the company’s growth. Money factor is what makes you don’t want to go to work.
Mismatch between you and your company’s way of working
There are many working class people who are not fortunate enough to get the desired job. They end up getting a job which might not be in accordance to your mental capabilities and thus have to work against their wishes. Or you can say it like when your way of working style is not in sync with a company.
This happens because, say for example, when the working style of firm or business is progressive, they use all new technologies but you have different styles of working like desk and files or vice versa. Then it becomes difficult to operate and might leave you unsatisfied. So there is nothing at your place of work that motivates you and as a result you don’t want to go to work.
Enmity with your colleagues
Incompatibility with your co- workers can become an important factor in making you feel like you don’t want to go to work. It is possible that you are working for the best company around but not getting congenial environment because of the colleagues animosity amongst each other is rotten the entire situation. You end up feeling dejected and makes you don’t want to work.
Mundane work
I don’t want to work for a job that is repetitive and mundane. After a certain time, you will become an expert in performing the job without involving your mental skills. Then you gradually began to feel lethargic and it doesn’t give you motivation to work better. You will feel like staying at home and don’t want to work. One of the ways to deal with your ‘don’t want to go to work’ attitude is that you are provided with challenging work to realize your full potential. You need a push to work dedicated toward acing new work opportunities.
Uninterested in the job
There are thousands of people who are working at a place or engaged in a job that is not serving their satisfaction level. The only reasons for them to pursue that job could be that it is the source of their livelihood, or they are in dire need of money, or they are only doing this job only for the satisfaction of their parents. Eliminating all these factors will give you no reason to go and you don’t want to go to work.
I would suggest you to overcome this, you should look for the job that interests you, that will satisfy you, that will push you to work towards reaching new heights and proves you to be an asset for the company you are working for.
Commuting time
When you don’t want to go to work, one of the possible reasons could be the time involved in commuting from your home to the workplace. It is possible that time taken is way too long so as to leave you tired and exhausted before reaching the office. It is also a strongly repulsive factor when one travels for hours.
